These big Kawasaki Twins utilize TWO stators and TWO regulator/rectifiers for charging the battery.

There is an inner and an outer stator (not-interchangeable). The regulator/rectifiers are identical and therefore interchangeable.

Each stator feeds its own regulator/rectifier.

For trouble shooting purposes: disconnect one regulator/rectifier and check the other system for proper output.

Then disconnect the other regulator/rectifier and repeat.
