This high power stator for the KLR650 supplies 280W of output, which is 80W more than the stock output. The stock regulator/rectifier and wiring can handle the extra output just fine making ESG450 a plug-in replacement for the OE stator. The part comes with a full one year warranty. ESG450 will have better output at very low engine RPMs than it's 400W ESG451 sibling, and we recommend it when electrical power requirements are to the extend of adding an extra driving light, or some heated clothing (not both at the same time!)
Resistance between the YELLOW leads: 0.7-1.0 Ω. Between any YELLOW lead and GROUND: Open Circuit (OL on display) Outside Diameter: 115mm Resistance RED - BROWN: 150Ω (RESISTANCE VALUES ARE FOR ELECTROSPORT PART ONLY AND WILL VARY FROM OEM DATA) Power Output: 280W @ 3500RPM* *The actual power output varies depending on the configuration and condition of the charging system. Actual performance is typically within +/- 5% of this value. Kawasaki rates the OEM stator in this model at 300W. Our tests of the OEM stator and flywheel show a maximum output of 210W @ 3500RPM
