The stock stator is a split wound system with half the power for the battery and half the power for the CDI and headlight in AC mode. This is hardly enough to power a 35W bulb! And keep the battery charged. ElectroSports unique 10 pull stator design features two winding pull's wound for power to the CDI and eight winding pulls' wound for power for DC lighting.
