Dr. Greg Frazier and a KLR650: The Ultimate Product Reliability Torture Test!

Professional motorcycle adventurer Dr. Gregory W. Frazier has successfully completed a fourth solo motorcycle "round the-world-ride" His 4-peat found him circling the globe over a five month period, riding 19,631 miles and tagging four continents.

Upon completing his fourth motorcycle ride around the globe, Frazier became the first motorcyclist known to have made four solo global circumnavigations.

ElectroSport supplied Dr. Frazier's KLR650, a combination of an ElectroSport ESG450 high-output stator and ElectroSport ESR260 Regulator/Rectifier to outfit the otherwise stock engine.

"It was one of the better investments made on the KLR. I found some of Siberia to be cold like advertized, even in the summer. My electric vest from Aerostitch kept me warm while the ElectroSport High Output system kept juice flowing on the plus side. Easy to install, it makes sense for anybody to put the system in if they are going to add any extra demands on the KLR electrical system. Being in the middle of Russia with a dead battery is not a desirable situation. If I were to make another run around the world, I'd stuff ElectroSport into any motorcycle that had a marginal charging system. In fact, I'd put one in if I were to just ride around town."
