The Beginning: ElectroSport was founded in the late 90's in Oceanside, California, by Dutchman Ritzo Muntinga, himself an avid biker and acknowledged wrench.
Ritzo studied process engineering at the State University of Groningen, but his addiction to bikes and the small budget that any student suffered from nudged him into working on motorcycles, which was to become his job after he finished his studies in 1992.
It didn't take long before he found out that there was a large demand for OEM replacement electrical components. After developing the market within the Netherlands and Germany, the next step was expanding the market into the USA.
Late 90's: A mission was set to increase sales and provide the technical support required for the US market. This ultimately led to the establishment of ElectroSport.
2000's: ElectroSport now proudly services dealers directly, and through distribution channels throughout the world. Additionally, Ritzo has established himself as "THE" powersports electronic guru within the industry with OEM development and manufacturing for numerous companies.
